My Project

I am requesting the addition of the books The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time and Remarkably Bright Creatures to the classroom library to provide students with meaningful opportunities to explore diverse perspectives and life journeys through literature. These novels highlight the experiences of unique and diverse learners, including individuals with social, emotional, and intellectual differences, while encouraging empathy, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the world around them. Incorporating contemporary literature such as these texts allows students to connect with characters from varying backgrounds and experiences, fostering inclusivity and engagement while expanding their appreciation for different voices and stories.
