This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are always on the go and always excited to learn. They enjoy coming to school and I love teaching them. It is a pleasure to come to work each morning to see their smiling faces, ready to show/apply all they have learned. This is my second year teaching, it has been a very rewarding experience. We have made the best out of the current resources we have, and I am always seeking to add materials to meet the needs of every single scholar. I would love to provide countless opportunities for my students to engage in literacy with vocabulary rich text even while I am working with other students in a small group setting. Having a listening center would allow my students to listen, practice features of print, gain vocabulary exposure and also share connections and conversations with their peers post the read aloud.
