Without your generosity and wonderful support, we would not be able to get all the materials such pretzel, cookies, fruit snacks, cereal, fortune cookies and juice pouches to teach my students more about spring holidays. \r\n\r\nLast month, we were able to use Tootie Fruities to create 100th Day of School necklaces with our 2nd grade STEAM buddies. I love watching my TK and their 2nd grade buddies work together counting and sorting out the different colors. It's amazing and priceless to see them so engaged and excited to see their buddies. I'm so happy that you were able TK give us the opportunity to not just learn in class but help build forever lasting friendships among grade levels. We had our virtual Chinese New Year field trip two weeks ago and students were so excited to get their own fortune cookie. They love the special message they're received in their cookies. My aide and I had to modify the message so my students can understand the message. They still loved it! We had to reorder the other snack supplies twice due to Amazon not sending supplies due to damage but it was okay. My students are still grateful for our generosity and support! \r\n\r\nMy students and I appreciate YOU and your KINDNESS! Thank you for helping me start the 2026 year in a positive way! They were jumping up and down when I shared the wonderful news that this project got funded and shouting, \"Thank you!\" I heard many of them telling each other, \"When I get older, I am going to help teachers like Mrs. Koenig as well!\" I love that! We'll build them when we return from Presidents' Day break. This project will give them the opportunity to care for their own ecosystem and learn about the basic needs of succulents. I sent along a picture of how they will turn out.\r\nThe storage bags have been incredibly helpful for organizing supplies. They even fit Legos! The blue tape has been a game-changer. It's holding up our Wipebooks so we can easily move them around the room. The students and I use the dry-erase markers to work through problems on the Wipebooks. We also use them to write our class goals and learning intentions for each subject.\r\nThe crayons have been perfect. The students are learning a writing strategy called RACE, and each letter and task has its own color. They use the red, blue, and green crayons throughout the week. I've placed the boxes in their table bins so they always have access. You can see their work in the pictures. This has really helped them remember to include each part of the strategy when answering comprehension questions.\r\nThe students' favorite donation by far was the styluses—they LOVE them! In the pictures, you can see them drawing their answers to math problems directly on their screens. Before your donation, they were using their fingers, which made it hard to see what they were doing and to work neatly. The styluses have made such a difference in both their accuracy and confidence.\r\nThe word that comes to mind most when I think of your generous gift is success.
