They love the adventures they get to go on when they put it on the Toniebox and it starts to play.\r\n\r\nFor my developing readers, the Tonies provide a bridge to independence. They can \"read\" along with high-quality narration, which builds their fluency and confidence. Using this tool, I have also seen a significant increase in the listening skills and comprehension of stories in my little TK students. Now that we have these engaging audio resources, our next step is to have the students use the Tonies to practice identifying their favorite part of a story and to retell stories.\r\n\r\nYou haven't just given us \"toys\"—you've given us a bridge to literacy for every type of learner in our room.
