It is amazing and cute to see how my students mimic the story in the same tone and expression when I put books we read into our classroom library area. This reading skill is an important step in becoming a successful reader because they can enjoy a story without the pressure of figuring out every word themselves. Reading books aloud is a great way to remind our students that we also read for enjoyment.
