My Project

My fifth graders are curious, creative, and eager to tell the story of our school community. As members of our yearbook club, they take pride in capturing special moments, interviewing classmates, and preserving memories that will last long after elementary school. I love watching them develop leadership skills, work together, and gain confidence as they take ownership of creating a book that represents their classmates and school.

The digital cameras will allow students to document events, celebrations, and everyday moments throughout the school year.

With reliable, easy-to-use cameras, students will learn basic photography skills while practicing responsibility and collaboration. Memory cards and protective accessories will help keep our equipment organized and ensure that students can safely capture thousands of photos. By using these resources, students will gain real-world experience in communication, creativity, and teamwork while creating a yearbook that celebrates the unique story of our school.

These resources will empower students to become photographers, storytellers, and historians, preserving memories that their classmates and families will treasure for years to come
