Help me give my students the opportunity to watch my math instruction in real time through the lens of a document camera as I teach important steps in word problems and algorithms.

My Project

Students often enter fifth grade with a solid foundation in mathematics. As they build on that foundation, it is essential that they see each step of a problem or equation—not simply the final answer. By making mathematical thinking visible, students can develop a deeper conceptual understanding, explain their reasoning, and apply their skills to real-world situations.

A document camera, along with additional instructional resource books, will help me provide clear, step-by-step modeling and engaging examples that bring math concepts to life.

These resources will equip my students with the tools they need to strengthen their mathematical foundation, build confidence, and become thoughtful, independent problem-solvers.
