My Project

As we enter the second half of the school, students feel overwhelmed, checked out, and stressed as they try to find ways to keep their momentum up. The chosen items provide students with a way to deal with social and emotional skills and give them opportunities to create a positive learning experience. For example, playing cards helps relax the mind and have fun. Next, the different plush toys, slimes, headphones, and other fun things allow them to add positive behavior as a prize. The whiteboard and other classroom like materials is to provide other ways to learn beyond the traditional ways of learning in a math class.

I hope my kids can overcome the school year blues by being provided resources that promote a positive space of learning and community and be provided ways to "Lighten the Mood" in the classroom.

Too many things affect their energy, so I hope these items help boost their morale and motivate them to come to class and focus despite everything they have been through.
