This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting will help support hands on learning in a fun and engaging way. We need your help to provide this opportunity to our class! The light table will become a center station for both Literacy and Math by using different manipulatives. The manipulative set comes with counters, letters, numbers, shapes and more that can be used with the trays to create patterns, sort, and count their way to math success. They can then use the letters and the alphabet tracers to work on basic literacy skills that will help them learn to read and write. To top it all off, they can do all these things on a lighted table that can change colors, which will make the center engaging and fun. They won't even know they are learning!

By donating to this project, you will be providing a new and engaging way to practice basic Math and Literacy skills that will build the foundation for all future learning.

Providing my students with new fun and engaging activities can be difficult when you have to choose a specific content area to focus on. This project allows me to provide a multitude of activities in various content areas all in one center that can be easily adjusted and changed to support my students needs as they grow.
