Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the heart of our incredible learning community, I am privileged to work with an exceptionally compassionate group of students this year. Their kindness, gratitude, and unwavering commitment to giving back, regardless of their personal circumstances, have created an extraordinary classroom environment.

I aim to provide each of our four table groups with individual table lamps.

Our students have expressed a distinct preference for alternative light sources over the standard classroom lighting. Despite investing in light covers to address their concerns, the results fell short of expectations.

These table lamps would serve as a tailored solution, allowing us to turn off the large, overhead lights that currently contribute to discomfort and headaches for both students and educators. By doing so, we not only create a more comfortable and conducive learning space but also significantly reduce electricity consumption.

Your generous contribution to this project would not only enhance the overall atmosphere of our classroom but also affirm our commitment to sustainability and student well-being. Together, we can make a lasting impact on the educational experience of these exceptional students, fostering an environment that reflects their unique needs and cultivates a sense of comfort and empowerment.
