Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is my first year teaching in a special education classroom and I absolutely love it! I want to help them develop important life skills that will help them for the rest of their lives. In my cart, I have supplies that can help them learn. We will use the reusable cups and bowls during our meal times and when they need water throughout the day. I will also help the kids learn how to wash and put away their own dishes! Learning coping skills when things get tough is also an important life skill. I have some students with physical disabilities that would benefit from a hammock swing. This swing will accommodate their needs and also help them when they need to cope or fulfill sensory needs! I also have printer ink that I use for my student's assignments and fine motor skill assignments! Finally, I have some workbooks to help my kids learn how to work independently!
