This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I’d like to bring the magic of 3D printing to my students! Most of them are from low-income households, so any interactive programming I can provide them in the library is engaging and meaningful to them. Students will be able to learn how the printer works in lunch and after-school club programming, working and planning out what they'd like to print for themselves, such as phone cases, fidget toys for stress and anxiety, and ever 3D bookmarks! This is something the CTE has, but I'd love to have it housed in the library's makerspace for everyone to access.
