Licorice Bracelets and Sharpies!

Help me give my students a variety of Sharpies and licorice for making friendship bracelets.

My Project

What a combination!

We need different varieties of Sharpie markers in different colors, just black, and assorted metallic colors for multiple Spring projects.

The licorice will be used by my younger students to teach Macrame techniques to make Friendship Bracelets. They will learn to knot and use the laces over the thick pieces.

I have been out for five weeks with knee surgery so when I return to my art classes, I would love to have some fun, surprising projects in store for them.

Sharpies are used daily and the students love a new, juicy Sharpie almost as much as they love candy!

Making anything crafty such as Macrame is calming and fun for elementary students. Knotting beautiful bracelets will be a thrill for them to learn and can transfer to yarn or vinyl laces.
