Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are working hard to update and revitalize our school library! Our students are enthusiastic about spending time in the library and we want to provide them with the best possible environment to read and practice mindfulness. While technology plays an important role in our library media space, our students also need a place to read quietly or find calm in their day. The buddha boards and watercolors in this project will allow students to engage in mindful painting activities.The bean bags and noise cancelling headphones will allow students to read comfortably in the quiet that they need. This project will help us make our library a peaceful and comforting space for our students to continue to develop their skills as readers.
