Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our middle school e-sports program is dedicated to fostering teamwork, critical thinking, and digital literacy among students. We started this program this school year, and this led to many excited students in our school.

We are hoping to not only continue our program but to grow it for the next school year.

As the school year went by, more and more students found out about our class, and the level of inquiry and support from the students has been nearly overwhelming.

By incorporating competitive gaming into our curriculum, we aim to engage students in a fun and innovative way. With your support, we are seeking funding for two Nintendo Switch consoles and additional controllers. These resources will both help our program grow and help to enhance our program, allowing students to collaborate, strategize, and develop essential skills in a supportive environment.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
