My Project

My students are curious, creative, and full of energy. I teach technology and digital literacy in a small Maui school, and I'm always seeking innovative ways to engage them in learning that feels meaningful and fun. This project will bring a Nintendo Switch 2 into our classroom, along with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – a game that sparks imagination, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Using the Switch as a tool, students will explore game design, storytelling, environmental interaction, and spatial reasoning.

We'll tie in STEM and digital media lessons, analyzing game mechanics, logic, and even map design. Students will be encouraged to reflect, collaborate, and dream bigger — all while learning skills that transfer to real-world technology and creative careers.
