My Project

One favorite student activity in our classroom is writing. A center activity students participate in is “Selfie Writing”. Students write about a prompt and take a selfie picture when they are done. The cardstock will be used to print off writing students do throughout the school year. At the end of the year, I compile the writing into a book for students to keep. Students and families love seeing their writing (and pictures) progress throughout the school year.

My students love creating and writing their own books!

Students spend their indoor recess time creating their own non-fiction books. They have even created a book tub to hold their student created books! I would like to give students sturdy blank books to inspire and encourage their love of writing.
