One of the things lacking in my classroom is technology. Students are expected to take and pass tests on the computer, but there are not enough computers in my classroom and school. I currently have one classroom computer for 20 students. My school has five laptop carts and one computer lab for the entire school. There are not enough resources for students to be able to interact with technology on a daily basis. This Chromebooks will make it easier to prepare students for the future and give them practice with 21st century skills they need for success later in life. The Chromebook will be used during small group instruction time. They will be used to aid students in writing final drafts of their essays. They will also be used for learning games, research, listening to fluent reading, practicing math facts, and so much more!
