My Project

I have an eclectic class of learners. This class is special because the majority of them are in their second year with me. I get to see their progress beyond one year in preschool.

My students enjoy being actively involved in what they are learning and what better way to meet their needs than providing more building materials and hands on alphabet, number, and shape manipulatives!

The PicassoTiles will allow my building loving students the opportunity to create more from their imaginations. The alphabet pairs will encourage letter identification, the number matching eggs will reinforce number identification, and the shape matching eggs will reinforce shape recognition.

In small groups, I can use the alphabet matching eggs and llamas to reinforce letter identification by having the students say the letter as they find the match.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
