The magnifying glasses have been used for many things, from looking at bugs on the playground to experimenting with you they make our faces look different! I have been able use the laminator to create many activities to use with our light table, as well as lasting activities for the science, literacy and math centers. Magnetiles are always a big hit and these specialty ones, particularly the roads, have come in handy when teaching about transportation. I love watching their creativity as they build different types of roads.\r\n\r\nMy students are always excited for any kind of new materials, especially given that we are a low income school. These materials allow me to offer them opportunities for learning that they might not have otherwise.\r\n\r\nAs the weather improves, we will be taking the magnifying glasses outside to look at different trees and their bark and marking our recordings.
