Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These books and hands- on activites will help continue my students' learning to decode words and enjoy their love of reading. Having a print-rich environment in the lower grades is so important. I believe the basic part of first grade is having a variety of books for my students to engage in their learning. These books will meet the needs of all my students which are all on different levels in their learning. The books cart will make it easy to organize so both teacher and students can find books at ease!

With these books my students will be able to read at their own pace on their own ability level!

They love taking books home to share with their family members. They come back to school so proud they were able to read these books at home. Independently!

These books will be used in small group, reading in the reading area with partners, and reading at home to family. Please help us fill our classroom with these awesome books!
