My Students

Our classroom is filled with 18 children from 3-5 years old. These children come from diverse and low-income families. Some children are experiencing their first year in a school setting while others are in their second or third year in preschool. The majority of the children will be going to Kindergarten next year and lack the skills they need to be successful.

The children have great imaginations, are creative, and have high energy to learn.

Our classroom is a safe and positive environment for them to use these amazing skills and gain many more! We plan to give them the one on one help they need, challenge those who need it, and make learning fun.

My Project

With dollhouse furniture the children can get more excited about playing with their dollhouse. These materials can help them develop many skills while they play.

The Dollhouse furniture can help them interact with each other and set each room up as if it was their own house, this can help them with pretend play as they make the dollhouse more a home.

The dollhouse furniture will help them show curiosity, motivation, flexibility, and inventiveness in thinking about what each room will look like and what each thing is used for. Having a variety of furniture helps children use their imagination as if they were living in that home like it was their own.
