One of the children’s favorite centers is the art area! They love creating so many things with a variety of different materials. Since they use so many materials to create their artwork it is hard to keep the materials stocked up in there. With new and more materials they can create many more projects to keep their imaginations and creativity going! These materials help them develop many skills. The open-ended materials help them show curiosity, motivation, flexibility, and inventiveness in thinking about their project and how they will make it. It also helps them persist, solve problems, and develop their fine motor skills while they are creating their works of art.

About my class
