This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This class is amazing! I have so many thoughtful and hard working students. We have been working on “Filling” the invisible buckets others carry around with them by complementing and being respectful to others. Thank you for considering a donation to my “All-Stars!”

My Project

The products I have selected will all help students with the writing process. After learning online for over a year, students are really struggling with paper/pencil writing. A lot of them are just learning the writing process for the first time. (brainstorming, rough draft, editing, publishing) The folders I picked out have four sections where students can keep their work for each section of the writing process. This will also help students stay organized and not lose their work. I also chose vocabulary journals for each student. A high percentage of my class are English Language Learners, making it extremely important for me to put a huge focus on vocabulary. These journals will be great for adding new words that we’ve learned. Thank you for considering donating to my classroom writing project!
