My students in my class are all new immigrants to the United States. When reading different stories, social studies or science articles we reference the different states in the U.S. and my students are often confused as to where those states are in relevance to where they live now.
I want to be able to show my students the greatness of our country and the many different states.
Through this project I want my students to have an understanding of the different regions of the United States and the understanding that all these states make up our amazing country that they have come to live in.
