The students love playing with the legos to spark creativity and show off their skills. This also for me to have some structured \"free\" choice options that still fit within the STEM world. I can give them an object to build and see what they come up with. The Snap-Circuits might be the biggest hit in the class, any time there is extra time in the class they want to get them out and try to complete as many different activities as they can. This also helped in our electrical unit where we explored circuits and got to play with the many different aspects within a circuits. These books are great addition to the bins of legos we have in our classroom. \r\n\r\nThe first day the books were in the room was one of the days where the weather was frightful. We were able to use these books during an indoor recess time. It made building with legos easier for the few students who struggle to have ideas to build. \r\n\r\nThe books are beautiful! The pictures and graphics are clear. The variety of books has ideas that are quick and easy to more difficult and time consuming.
