Waiting for the next book in a series to come out is part of the excitement of reading. Reading books in a series is like binge watching a Netflix show but instead you are reading. You can hardly wait to see what happens to your favorite character in the next book. I want my students to be binge reading a series, and I need your help to get the next books in the series for them. Reading a series allows my limited English students to identify with the characters and builds prior knowledge of the story line. Also, reading a series is a gateway for reluctant reader to love reading. My classroom library is based on the honor system and each book is treated with care. With your help and these books I hope to teach my students the value and love of books.
