Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of our scholars come from very needy homes and lack basic essentials for winter, including hats, and gloves. These students sometimes miss school because they lack the proper gear to brave the cold and keep them warm. And, those that do come, are very cold when it's time to go out to recess. A lot of these students did not receive holiday gifts because their parents simply could not afford to buy them.

That is why these hats and gloves would be perfect to keep in the office for schoolwide use.

The coloring books would be a great surprise to spread some holiday cheer, and remind them that the winter holidays are a joyful and wonderful time of year.
