My Students

Pre-K is a wonderful place to learn and grow. My classroom is made up of 18 precious 4 and 5 year old kiddos. Our school is made up of Pre-K through 12th grade. Our school is in a rural, low income community. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are one big family who cares and loves for one another.

My Project

These balls will help my students develop adequate gross motor skills. These balls will be used daily whether we are outside or in the gym. Each child will have their own ball to participate in on directed and non-directed age appropriate activities. With directed activities my students will not only develop their gross motor development, but only their listening and following direction skills. With non-directed activities they will learn to play with one another, share, and develop important social skills. All of these skills are very important in the development of a four year old child.
