This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second-grade students will be learning the life cycle of various animals this spring. To make the learning memorable for my students, I would like to give my students the opportunity to explore the chicken life cycle by hatching their own chicks with an incubator set and the chick life cycle. I am a chicken farmer and having the ability to watch life form within an egg is always egg-citing!

My students will become ornithologists in learning the life cycle of a chick and having the ability to watch a pipping of a chick come out of its shell.
