Help me give my students Building Brick STEM Challenge Kits to support our upcoming Physical Science and Engineering unit, as we cannot learn engineering entirely through the use of a digital device so let's get our hands on!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have begun this new remote learning school year with my amazing Kindergarten students. These children enthusiastically want to learn how to read/write and actively participate in school projects. However, now that we are directed to offer school as fully remote learning, we have some challenges in addressing the community for which my school serves. My students are from a large, urban community that welcomes families from all over the globe. They bring a special blend of linguistic diversity, background knowledge, prior experiences and culture to our school. We are a Title I school in a low-income community receiving free district breakfast and free or reduced-price lunch. Many of my students struggle with the ability to learn online for a variety of reasons, (internet, devices, parental support). Many will depend on worksheet packets, manipulatives, basic school supplies and whatever books (if any) they have at home. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager learners and I want to support them as best as I can.
My Project
Our next unit in science is Physical Science and we need hands-on learning materials to build, create and engineer real structures. Our remote learning has been terrific in so many ways but having real life materials to strategize and problems solve are essential to support this Physical Science unit. So let's get our hands on some building bricks!
These at home brick kits will help my students interactively create real robots, bridges and mazes where they can put their inquiry questions and class challenges to the test using STEM building skills.
