This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Help me to help my students with keeping their items, school work, and assignments neat and organized. As a teacher I see all to often the frustration students have when they "can't find something". By providing strategies for along with practical solutions for organizing items that is classroom functional will help the students tremendously.

The point of keeping materials organized is to help students with learning disabilities keep all their classwork assignments, classroom textbooks and homework papers in one place that provides easy, logical access.

We are a self contained Emotional Support classroom. The self-contained classroom environment demands a high level of organization due to the varied needs and schedules of students, and I can see that a well-organized space encourage student motivation, performance, and persistence. And for my students, being organized is particularly important since it helps them learn how to prioritize activities, set and achieve goals and reduce stress.
