My students are amazing and eager to learn new things! Our classroom is filled with a variety of learners, each with unique needs. I strive to actively engage all students and to make their learning experience fun. I love working with my students and being able to watch them grow and learn all year long.
My students love to learn through movement and allowing my students the choice of flexible seating options will enable them to be successful in their learning journey.
In our classroom we incorporate a variety of learning strategies such as working in small groups with the teacher, independently, and group work.
I know my students will enjoy the freedom and the opportunity to recognize how they learn best by choosing a seating option that best fits their individual needs.
My Project
Students all learn in a variety of ways. Flexible seating will allow students the chance to take charge of their learning by selecting a seating option that will help them focus best. Alternative seating will be beneficial in keeping all learners engaged, focused and motivated.
The products that I have selected will allow my students the choice of additional seating options that will make their learning journey more effective in the classroom.
The balance balls and wobble chairs will allow students to get some movement out while still at their desks. These items will be able to be moved to different locations through out the classroom as well. The lap desks will allow students the option of working on the floor comfortably.
I have witnessed in my classroom how allowing students to have alternative seating options can impact a student's learning in positive way. Students will stay engaged and in turn will be more successful in the classroom.
