Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My preschoolers are very curious, hard-working, eager to learn, and highly energetic.
The students at my school come from low economic backgrounds. We are a Title I school and most of the students are not able to bring in additional items that would create a rich learning environment. Providing the tools necessary to teach remains a constant struggle with the lack of enough funding to provide for each year.
My Project
We currently own a Cricut machine but lack all the accessories to use it. For this reason, I am requesting vinyl , transfer tape, iron on transfer sheets, markers and other accessories to begin using our Cricut machine and create a variety of projects. With the use of the Cricut, students will have access to materials that can be used in language arts, mathematics, writing, and much more. I will be using it to create instructional materials, shirts for our field trips, and items to create a more inviting classroom environment.
The Cricut accessories will help me create an inviting environment with fun and unique instructional materials fo my little ones to enjoy.
