My Project

I teach English Language Learners in 7th and 8th grades. These guys are required to pass an exam in listening, speaking, reading and writing in order to exit our of the English Language Development program. This is not an easy exam. I would argue that most middle school kids would struggle even if English is their first language.

Every year my students have made huge growth and the percentage of passers increases.

I want to celebrate this. I have planned a ceremony where students will receive certificates of growth or completion in front of their peers and families. Afterwards, we will have time to celebrate with an outdoor party. So I am asking for games and other outdoor activities to make this as fun filled as possible.
