Let Those Feet Wiggle!

Help me give my students bouncy bands for their wiggly feet and weighted stuffies to keep them grounded and focused.

My Project

It seems like every year, more and more of my students have a hard time sitting still. They are full of energy and not always able to sit quietly at their desks.

I say, let them wiggle!

Some students need to be able to move in order to focus. Having a set of ten rubber bands for student chairs will allow those who need it to be able to bounce their feet. This seems like a very durable set with great reviews that I'll be able to use for many years.

A few weighted stuffed animals in our classroom reading nook will allow students to feel grounded and cozy in our flexible seating area. I can just see them in one of our beanbag chairs with a big dinosaur or puppy in their lap. It will also be a fun way to make our classroom feel more inviting and comfortable. A set of fidget bracelets will keep hands busy while brains are working. Thank you for considering my project.
