Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have had many indoor recess days this school year and surprisingly, there has been little complaining. Due, in large part, to the fun board games students can choose from.

We would love your help in replenishing our stock of board games for indoor recess.

Remember when you would beat your brother or cousin or grandparent at Sorry? Not sorry, right? Our students find the same entertainment in competing against each other and learning along the way. Sorry, Phase 10, Trouble, Uno, Connect 4, Toss Across and Jenga are beloved indoor recess games.

What we adults might call a 'vintage' board game has become a fun way to pass the time when students can't get outside for recess due to weather.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
