Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second graders are naturally curious, energetic, and eager to explore the world around them. They learn best when they can actively participate, collaborate with classmates, and discover new skills through hands-on experiences. Educational games and puzzles provide meaningful opportunities for students to practice important academic skills while building confidence, communication, and teamwork.

This project will provide a variety of literacy games, STEM challenges, strategy games, puzzles, and sensory tools that students can use during literacy and math centers, indoor recess, early finisher activities, small-group instruction, and social-emotional learning.

These resources will strengthen reading, vocabulary, critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration while making learning enjoyable and engaging.

Many of my students thrive when learning feels like play. Games encourage perseverance, teach students how to work together, celebrate successes, and learn from mistakes in a supportive environment. Sensory tools will also help students stay focused and self-regulate so they are ready to learn.

Your generosity will help create a classroom where every child has opportunities to learn, grow, and build lasting friendships through purposeful play. Every game and puzzle will be used year after year, giving countless students the chance to experience joyful, meaningful learning.
