My students have many different academic, social and behavioral needs. Some of my students struggle sitting in a traditional chair and do better in standing tables, ball chairs, pillows, benches etc. Flexible seating gives them the opportunity to do their best work in a seat of their choice. It is my hope that my classroom can become a safe and comfortable place that meets all student needs. I also want my students to take initiative and stand up for themselves. I need them to be able to say "this seat doesn't work for me, I can do my best work at this chair."
