My Project

My 2nd graders just completed the task of reorganizing our classroom library. They were thrilled to revisit some previously read texts, find some hidden gems for future reading, and collaborate on a team project. One thing we noticed when we were sorting the wonderful books in our classroom is that the non-fiction section is too small!

These 2nd graders are eager to access more non-fiction series and topics, such as robots, rocks and minerals, animals, and food.

Of course they found some series in our fiction section and requested books to continue reading those series. So now the battle is on! Will it be fiction or non-fiction?
