Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The xylophone will definitely enrich our students' musical experience. Our students come from underserved neighborhood of Chicago. Students have been learning music through singing, dancing, and instrument play. Even though they have been working very hard, the limited resources have prevented them from performing at their highest potentials.

For these children, they don't have access to high quality music education outside of the school, so it is extremely important that we can offer it at the school.

Therefore, my goal of this project is to equip my classes with instruments that would allow high quality music education program to be implemented. It is my hope that it would foster our students' lifelong love for music .

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
