My Project

Having copies of the Lorax for each of my lab groups will allow us to read the children's book and compare it to another book called the Truax. These two children's books offer opposing viewpoints about sustainable forestry and make for a compelling lesson in bias and perspective. The Truffala pens will allow us to make this experience a celebration as we prepare for their national exams.

This project emphasizes sustainable forestry practices and vital media literacy skills, including the detection of bias.

With copies of the Lorax and Truffala pens, my students can celebrate learning about preserving our environment.
