This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Your contribution to this project will help students lengthen and strengthen during warm up and cool down activities. With your help students will be able have their own yoga mat to lengthen their bodies and zone into their breathe. The yoga blocks will assist each student during various poses, such as triangle pose, mountain pose, and Russian twists. We can all benefit from a little floor time, and with the floor cushions students have the opportunity to improve hip mobility during their PE time.

Lengthening and strengthening our muscles can build helpful movement patterns!
