My Students

My students are vibrant! I have 31 children in my class who love to learn and work in fun creative ways.

We have a western theme classroom, and my students are always coming up with fun ways to incorporate our theme into learning and play - Sheriff and Deputy (class helpers), Buck-a-roos (class money), Posses (small groups), and more!

My Project

I have a two fold purpose. Most students are very visual and tactile learners. They need to explore and create with physical representations to solidify concepts, especially in elementary school.

I'm in need of some hands-on materials to help students build problem-solving skills - LEGO Sets, and I'm also in need of sets of books to help build reading skills."

LEGO sets can help students learn conflict resolutions skills. They also provide an opportunity for teamwork and communication to be fostered. LEGO sets are such a great STEAM activity. My students would really benefit from these creative materials.

The two books I've selected will really add some depth to our classroom. They are super high interest, and students that love a good book will stay in the struggle. Then I can help them improve their fluency and vocabulary.
