Most students are very visual and tactile learners. Students need to explore and create with physical representations to solidify concepts, especially in elementary school. I need some hands on materials to help students think outside of the box - so what about providing LEGO bricks to help them "build outside of the box!" LEGO sets can help students learn problem-solving and conflict resolutions skills. They also provide an opportunity for teamwork and communication to be fostered. LEGO sets are such a great STEAM activity. My students would really benefit from these creative materials.
