My Project

My students are unique because they are curious and creative. Over the past few years, I have seen students who have had difficulty concentrating on "school" stuff get focused on building a LEGO set.

My students take turns building LEGO sets as they need an opportunity to check out from the typical learning we do.

Many often come in at lunch and before and after school. We celebrate when the build set is accomplished, and each student who worked on the build gets recognized.

I want my students to continue having these feelings of accomplishment, thus increasing their social and emotional health.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
