Legendary Learners Seek Paper Products, Book Shelves, and Timers!

Help me give my students various paper supplies, book shelves, and timers to keep them motivated to learn the rest of our school year.

My Project

My students entered kindergarten during the pandemic and have been working so hard to catch up on missed learning.

We use colorful paper to hang their learning certificates on our classroom wall of fame.

When they achieve a new level, they get their achievement on the wall for all who enter the classroom to see. Also, we use plenty of paper to practice phonics instruction, letter formation, and writing. Research suggests that writing is an important component of literacy instruction.

Additionally, we have a clunky bookshelf, meant for large textbooks, where our classroom library is. Give students a shelf that allows students to grab new books without pieces falling out or books falling toward them.

Lastly, timers are a tool of infinite possibilities that were suggested to help meet the needs of learners by Dr. Melissa Sadin. If there is a skill or need to be met, a timer is almost always a huge help. With personal timers for my students, I hope to give them more control over their learning tasks and to self monitor
