My Students

I teach English as a Second Language and Spanish. I am in two different schools every day. I have elementary students as well as high school students. My ESL students are very motivated and eager to learn English. This year I have students from Thailand and Guatemala.

My high school Spanish students are mainly college bound students.

They are ready to accept challenges and move on to the next level of education.

We are in a rural area with a low economic base. Our budgets are not able to fill in all of the needs of our students.

My Project

With these readers, my students will be able to experience the language in a real life context. These books are written for Total Physical Response which means the students will not only be reading the books, but also acting out and re-telling the story!

These books are excellent for students because they feel confident and successful at their specific level.

We are unable to purchase the books with the tight budget that I currently have. As you can see, each book costs almost $20 each. I have used these types of books in the past and the kids love them!
