Help me give my students the opportunity to participate in more hands-on, engaging activities using the STEM items, like the OSMO coding and the 3D printer.
I am the Academic Coach at a Title 1 school in West Virginia. The school consists of Pre-K through 5th-grade students. Our students are energetic and love to learn. No matter what grade the students are in, they love hands-on, engaging, and collaborative activities.
These students come to school every day eager to learn something new.
The majority of last year was virtual, so many students were not given the opportunity to participate in hands-on and collaborative activities. With being back in school, the students have truly blossomed into active learners in their education.
My Project
The materials for this project will make a difference in our students' learning by helping to increase the amount of hands-on, engaging, and collaborative activities that lead to higher-level thinking. Students will have a designated space to use these materials to flourish their creativity.
Students will do inquiry thinking while using the 3D printer and building circuits.
They can work collaboratively at any grade level to build items using the magnetic pieces and use their creativity to make codes on the OSMO. The materials will help support our students' growth in science, technology, engineering, and math.
