Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Research finds that having a light table for 4-5 year old students provide a more engaging learning opportunity for language development, teaching math concepts such as pattern, numbers and color recognition as well as help students to become more better thinkers.

This winter, my students were very lucky to get a tabletop light box funded from a previous Donorschoose project.

My students love using the light box however we are in need of more translucent math manipulatives.

These requested manipulatives will help students develop better number recognition, learning their letters, shapes, counting, sorting skills and patterns.

These translucent manipulatives will be a great way to engage my students to have fun in school while learning how to work together with other classmates.
