Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my kindergarten students because they are curious, joyful, and eager to learn every day. They come to school excited to explore letters, numbers, art, and new ideas. Many of them learn best through hands-on activities and play, so having engaging materials is very important in our classroom. The supplies in this project will help my students practice reading, writing, and math in fun and meaningful ways. Art supplies like crayons, markers, glue, and watercolor paints will help them develop fine motor skills and express their creativity. Whiteboards and pencils will allow students to practice writing and solving math problems daily, while educational bingo and math games will make learning sight words, letters, and numbers interactive and exciting.

My goal for this project is to create a classroom where every student feels supported, motivated, and successful.

Storage bins will help keep our classroom organized so students can easily access materials and learn responsibility. Sensory tools, fidget toys, and small plush rewards will support students who need calming breaks and positive behavior reinforcement. These resources will help my students stay focused, build confidence, and enjoy learning. My students are special because they are kind, resilient, and full of imagination, and these materials will help them grow academically and emotionally in a safe and engaging learning environment.
