Learning Through Our Senses (Touch, Sight, Sound )

Help me give my students toys and activities that will let them explore using all of their senses and help them to learn and build their communication skills using their preferred modes of communication.

My Project

For this project I have selected particular toys such as magnetic tiles, farm animals toys, wooden trains, books and activities that my students will be able to explore through touching, looking, and listening.

The items I chose are cause and effect toys that encourage the students to activate and listen, books that they can touch and feel and magnetic tiles they can build and stack, allowing my students to learn and explore through their senses.

In speech we use many hands-on items that my students can explore while not only communicating likes and dislikes, but also to learn and use important core vocabulary ( ie: more, stop, go, yes, no, want, help etc...) that will allow for them to communicate throughout their day.
